Energy Arc untaps any number of your creatures and gives them protection from white until end of turn — all for two mana. Kitsa, Otterball Elite players use it to reset tap-to-activate creatures mid-combat, and Merieke Ri Berit players run it as an essential engine piece: untapping Merieke lets you steal another creature without destroying the one you already control.

Merieke Ri Berit
Merieke Ri Berit destroys whatever she was tapping for when she untaps, but Energy Arc breaks that rule — untapping her lets you accumulate stolen creatures rather than sacrificing the last one, turning a once-per-rotation steal into a repeatable engine on the same turn.

Energy Arc sees virtually all of its play in Commander, where its two-mana cost buys both a combat trick and a way to double-dip on tap abilities in the same turn. Legacy and Vintage permit it, but the effect is too narrow and situational to compete in those formats' faster, more linear environments. Oathbreaker is the one other format worth mentioning — commanders with tap abilities get the same value here that Merieke Ri Berit does in Commander. Outside of those tap-synergy shells, Energy Arc is a Commander-specific card in practice.

Pricing data for Energy Arc isn't currently available through this tool — check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for a live number. Given its niche role in Merieke Ri Berit decks and limited reprint history, it tends to trade as a low-demand older card rather than a staple, so copies are usually easy to find without breaking budget.
