Enduring Innocence

Enchantment Creature — Sheep Glimmer

Lifelink
Whenever one or more other creatures you control with power 2 or less enter, draw a card. This ability triggers only once each turn.
When Enduring Innocence dies, if it was a creature, return it to the battlefield under its owner's control. It's an enchantment. (It's not a creature.)

Enduring Innocence card art
Enduring Innocence draws you a card whenever another creature you control dies — stapled to a body that keeps coming back from the graveyard, it turns any sacrifice or attrition gameplan into a self-replenishing card engine. The cost is real: two white mana and a 1/1 stat line make it a removal magnet, but Arabella, Abandoned Doll decks don't care, because the card replaces itself the moment anything else on the board dies.

Best Commanders

Commanders with the highest synergy

01
Arabella, Abandoned Doll

Arabella, Abandoned Doll

61.5% of decks · synergy 0.51

Arabella, Abandoned Doll triggers on creature deaths and wants a hand full of cards to keep firing — Enduring Innocence turns every casualty in the damage engine into immediate card advantage, keeping the combo fueled without relying on a single draw spell.

02
Delney, Streetwise Lookout

Delney, Streetwise Lookout

58.8% of decks · synergy 0.45

Delney, Streetwise Lookout doubles triggered abilities from creatures with power two or less, and Enduring Innocence is exactly that profile — every creature death under Delney nets two cards instead of one, which can spiral into a full hand refill in a single combat step.

03
Mog, Moogle Warrior

Mog, Moogle Warrior

54.9% of decks · synergy 0.44

Mog, Moogle Warrior builds around small creatures and the death trigger economy, and Enduring Innocence slots directly into that loop — each creature Mog sends to the graveyard in the course of combat or sacrifice fuels a steady card-draw drip that keeps the board rebuilding.

04
The Jolly Balloon Man

The Jolly Balloon Man

54.4% of decks · synergy 0.43

The Jolly Balloon Man scales up small creatures to threatening sizes and pushes them into combat where they trade or die; Enduring Innocence converts every one of those deaths into a drawn card, meaning the deck never runs dry even after a board wipe.

05
Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer

Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer

33.6% of decks · synergy 0.31

Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer tutors creatures directly into play and tends to flood the board with bodies that die in combat; Enduring Innocence makes each of those bodies do double duty, converting the inevitable attrition into card advantage that funds the next tutor activation.

Commander is where Enduring Innocence does its best work — multiplayer games are long, creatures die constantly, and a recursive draw engine that can't be permanently exiled without dedicated graveyard hate is exactly the kind of card that takes over a game if left unchecked. In competitive 60-card formats like Modern and Pioneer, it's too slow and too conditional: a two-mana 1/1 that draws on creature death competes against far more explosive engines, and without the volume of deaths a full pod generates, the card rarely generates more than one or two draws before being answered. Legacy and Vintage have even higher bars, and Enduring Innocence doesn't clear them. Standard is the one 60-card environment where it could see niche play in aggressive white creature strategies that sacrifice their own board, though whether the meta supports that shell at any given time is another question entirely.

Pricing data for Enduring Innocence isn't available in the current dataset, so check your preferred retailer or Scryfall for the live number. Given its near-60% inclusion rate in Arabella, Abandoned Doll decks and meaningful adoption across several other popular commanders, demand is real — if it's currently cheap, that makes it a straightforward pickup for any white creature-death deck.
