−7: You get an emblem with "Creatures you control have trample and haste and get +2/+2 for each differently named dungeon you've completed."

Ellywick Tumblestrum is a four-mana planeswalker that digs for any creature with a dungeon subtype trigger and generates venture-into-the-dungeon value every turn — meaningful in dedicated typal shells, marginal everywhere else. The cost is opportunity: four mana for a walker that does nothing the turn it lands is a hard sell unless your deck is built to weaponize dungeons.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Commander is the only format where Ellywick Tumblestrum is genuinely playable — the dungeon mechanic needs a critical mass of venture triggers to matter, and the 99-card singleton format gives you the space to build around it. In Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer she's legal but irrelevant: four mana for a planeswalker with no immediate impact and a parasitic mechanic has never been competitive in those formats, and the dungeon payoffs are too incremental for a 60-card game. Oathbreaker is a theoretical home if you can pair her with an instant or sorcery that ventures, but the same four-mana-for-no-immediate-impact problem applies. Stick to Commander.

Price Context
Current price
$0.44 bulk tier
At $0.44, Ellywick Tumblestrum is firmly bulk — a four-mana planeswalker with a narrow mechanical focus rarely climbs out of that tier without a format-defining shell. The price is likely to stay flat unless a future dungeon-matter card turns venture into a competitive engine.
