Elemental Uprising
Instant

Elemental Uprising turns any land into a 4/4 trampling attacker until end of turn — solid punch for two mana, but the effect evaporates at the end of the turn it's cast. It earns a slot only in decks that can exploit the trample or sacrifice the land before the cleanup step.

Elemental Uprising is a Commander card through and through — the two-mana instant cost is too slow and the effect too fleeting for Legacy, Vintage, or even Modern, where tempo demands permanent board presence. In Pauper it's legal but outclassed by more efficient green threats at common. Commander is where it finds a home, specifically in landfall and land-sacrifice strategies where animating a land is a meaningful trigger or a free sacrifice outlet, not just a combat trick. Outside those synergy shells, it's a below-rate pump spell and not worth the slot.

Price Context
Current price
$0.11 bulk tier
At $0.11, Elemental Uprising is deep bulk — it costs less than the stamp on a letter and should stay there given its narrow competitive application. Buy it without hesitation for a synergy build; don't expect the price to move.
