Elemental Summoning card art
Elemental Summoning puts two 1/1 Elemental tokens with flying onto the battlefield for five mana — a reasonable board presence that pairs well with token doublers and aristocrats engines. The cost is steep for what you get in competitive pods, but in casual Elemental tribal or sacrifice shells it earns its slot.

Elemental Summoning is a casual Commander card — five mana for two 1/1 fliers doesn't clear the bar in Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, or Vintage, where the same investment wins the game outright. In Pauper it's legal but similarly outclassed by more efficient token producers. Commander is where it actually functions: Elemental tribal decks centered on Risen Reef or similar payoffs get real value from the two ETB triggers, and token-doubling enchantments turn the pair into four, which is a legitimate mid-game play.

Price Context

Current price

$0.13 bulk tier

At $0.13, Elemental Summoning is pure bulk — you're essentially getting it for free in a trade binder or as a throw-in. That price reflects its narrow role accurately and is unlikely to move unless Elemental tribal gets a high-profile Commander printing that spikes the whole archetype.
