Eerie Ultimatum card art
Eerie Ultimatum puts your entire graveyard back onto the battlefield simultaneously — every permanent, no restrictions — and that scale is the whole story. The seven-mana triple-color cost is steep, but in any deck that has been filling the graveyard on purpose, from Mitotic Slime token chains to Kathril, Aspect Warper keyword piles, it ends the game on resolution.

Commanders with the highest synergy

01
Kathril, Aspect Warper

Kathril, Aspect Warper

53.5% of decks · synergy 0.32

Kathril, Aspect Warper mills aggressively and wants every keyword creature in the graveyard to stack counters, so Eerie Ultimatum doubles as both a recovery engine and a second Kathril trigger waiting to happen when opponents interact with your setup.

02
Narci, Fable Singer

Narci, Fable Singer

49.4% of decks · synergy 0.27

Narci, Fable Singer cares about enchantments dying and sagas completing, and Eerie Ultimatum refills the board with every enchantment permanent at once — resetting the saga chapter count and restarting the Narci, Fable Singer damage clock in one spell.

04
Kethis, the Hidden Hand

Kethis, the Hidden Hand

38.1% of decks · synergy 0.16

Kethis, the Hidden Hand reduces legendary spell costs and mills legends into the graveyard as fuel, so Eerie Ultimatum reads as a mass resurrection of every legendary permanent you've discarded or sacrificed over the course of the game.

05
The Necrobloom

The Necrobloom

36.9% of decks · synergy 0.15

The Necrobloom puts lands into the graveyard at scale through landfall and mill, and Eerie Ultimatum returning every land permanent simultaneously creates the kind of explosive mana base that closes a game the turn it resolves.

Eerie Ultimatum is a Commander card in practice — the seven-mana cost and the need for a stocked graveyard both require the slower, multiplayer timeline to pay off. In Legacy and Vintage, where it's technically legal, nothing about the card's rate is competitive; reanimation at two or three mana does the same job without the color restriction headache. Pioneer and Modern are similarly theoretical: the triple Abzan color requirement and the setup cost put it well outside what those formats actually want. Oathbreaker can support it in the right shell, but Commander is where the ceiling is highest and where Eerie Ultimatum sees real play.

Current pricing data for Eerie Ultimatum isn't available in this snapshot, so check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for a live number before buying. Given its 53% inclusion rate in Kathril, Aspect Warper decks and its position as a unique mass-recursion effect with no direct substitute, it tends to hold value in Abzan graveyard staple territory.
