Dual-Sun Adepts enters with two +1/+1 counters on each creature you control that has a +1/+1 counter — a board-wide pump that can end games on the spot in the right shell. The cost is five mana with no immediate protection, so it lives and dies by whether your counter synergies are already online.

Dual-Sun Adepts is a Commander card through and through — the effect scales with a populated board of counters creatures, which takes the full arc of a multiplayer game to assemble. In 1v1 formats like Modern, Pioneer, or Legacy, five mana for a creature that does nothing until you already have counters spread around is far too slow and conditional to see serious play. Standard is the one non-Commander 60-card context where a dedicated counters build might briefly flirt with it, but even there the payoff requires too much setup for competitive tables. Stick to Commander, where Dual-Sun Adepts rewards the patient counter-stacking decks that have had four turns to build the board it wants to see.

Price Context
Current price
$0.06 bulk tier
At $0.06, Dual-Sun Adepts is deep bulk — the kind of card you pull from a common box rather than buy. That price is stable by definition; there's no meaningful demand to push it, and it won't spike unless a Commander precon or breakout deck puts it on the map.
