Dryad's Caress sees essentially no play outside Commander, and even there it occupies a narrow niche. In competitive Legacy and Vintage the six-mana cost is disqualifying, and the effect isn't powerful enough to warrant it in any known combo shell. Pauper legality is technically true but practically irrelevant — the card doesn't exist in that format's metagame. In Commander, the untap effect has real applications in big-mana green decks that want to chain spells in a single turn or hold up interaction after a large play, but six mana for a one-shot untap is a steep ask when Wilderness Reclamation and Seedborn Muse do it repeatedly.
