Dryad Militant shuts off graveyard-to-exile loops on a 2/1 body for one mana — the effect is real and the cost is almost nothing. It's a role-player in graveyard-hate packages, not a build-around, and it fills that role cleanly.

In Commander, Dryad Militant is a cheap, incidental hate piece that taxes flashback, unearth, and graveyard recursion without demanding deckbuilding investment — the problem is that one card rarely moves the needle in a four-player game, and dedicated graveyard decks will shrug it off. In Legacy and Modern, the card sees fringe sideboard play in white-green shells where a 2/1 body alongside the graveyard tax is a reasonable rate against Storm and Dredge. Pioneer and Standard have enough cheap creatures that the slot is competitive, but better hosers usually exist. Across all formats, Dryad Militant is at its best when you expect specific spell-recursion strategies and want a threat that demands an answer rather than just a noncreature enchantment.

$0.49 bulk tier
At $0.49, Dryad Militant sits firmly in bulk territory and is unlikely to move — it's not a staple, and supply far exceeds demand. Pick it up freely; there's no reason to hesitate at this price.
