Dream Spoilers enters and immediately makes every opponent discard a card — a one-shot, no-strings-attached hand disruption effect stapled to a 2/2 body for four mana. The rate is unimpressive, but the symmetry-breaking discard is real value in any deck that wants to grind opponents' hands down.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Dream Spoilers hits three opponents at once, which turns that single discard trigger into a three-for-one — that's where the card earns its slot, specifically in discard-matters builds helmed by commanders like Tinybones, Trinket Thief or Tergrid, God of Fright. Outside of Commander, Dream Spoilers is strictly worse than dedicated discard spells available in every other format: Modern, Pioneer, Legacy, and Vintage all have access to faster, more surgical hand disruption that doesn't require a four-mana creature. It's legal across the board but only competitively relevant in the multiplayer context where hitting multiple opponents simultaneously changes the math.

Price Context
Current price
$0.12 bulk tier
At $0.12, Dream Spoilers is deep bulk — easy to pick up in any trade binder or as a throw-in. Bulk discard creatures don't climb in price unless a new commander dramatically spikes demand, so don't expect movement.
