Drakestown Forgotten card art
Drakestown Forgotten enters with X +1/+1 counters — where X equals the number of creature cards in all graveyards — so in a multiplayer game it routinely lands as a 20/20 or larger with no additional setup. The cost is real: it asks for a heavy black mana investment and does nothing if the table hasn't been killing things, but Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight and similar graveyard-enabling commanders make that condition trivially easy to meet.

Commander is the obvious home for Drakestown Forgotten: four players means four graveyards, and a multiplayer game where no creatures have died by turn six is vanishingly rare, so the entry size almost always justifies the mana investment. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but has no realistic home — those formats move too fast for a slow, conditional finisher with no immediate board impact beyond raw size. Oathbreaker is the one other format worth considering, where a graveyard-synergy planeswalker can set up the conditions to make Drakestown Forgotten land large enough to close a game in one or two swings.

Pricing data for Drakestown Forgotten isn't available yet, which suggests it's either newly released or thinly tracked — check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for current market listings. Given its build-around nature and Commander-only relevance, expect it to settle in the bulk-to-low-value range unless graveyard synergy decks push demand.
