Disaster Radius wipes the board of small creatures and deals that damage directly to each opponent — stapled together, for free, off the top of your library when you cast a creature with enough mana value. The catch is that seven-mana floor: outside of high-CMC tribal or big-creature shells, it sits in hand too long to matter.

Disaster Radius is a Commander card through and through — the multiplayer payout of hitting each opponent with the damage transforms what would be a conditional wipe into a legitimate threat, and the cascade-style reveal cost rewards decks already leaning on expensive creatures. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but irrelevant; competitive formats don't accommodate seven-mana sorceries that require board setup. Modern has the same problem and better options at every point on the curve. Commander is the only place Disaster Radius earns its slot, and even there it wants a specific home: giants, dragons, or any tribe where your average creature mana value is high enough to guarantee a meaningful damage trigger.

Price Context
Current price
$0.30 bulk tier
At $0.30, Disaster Radius is deep bulk — pick it up without thinking twice if the deck wants it. Niche tribal payoffs at this price don't climb, so don't expect it to move; just sleeve it.
