Destructor Dragon enters and immediately destroys a noncreature permanent, turning its 4/4 flying body into a removal spell stapled to a threat. Six mana is a real ask, but you're getting a dragon that answers an enchantment, artifact, or planeswalker the turn it lands — that's a reasonable rate for Commander, not for anything faster.

Destructor Dragon belongs in Commander and almost nowhere else. In competitive formats — Legacy, Modern, Pioneer — six mana for a 4/4 with a single removal trigger is nowhere near the bar; those formats have cheaper, more reliable answers that don't ask you to survive to turn six. In Commander, the calculus shifts: the singleton format rewards enters-the-battlefield value on a flying body, and a dragon tribe or Temur goodstuff shell will happily pay six to blow up a Rhystic Study while landing a relevant attacker. Destructor Dragon is firmly a casual Commander card — playable there, ignorable everywhere else.

Price Context
Current price
$0.30 bulk tier
At $0.30, Destructor Dragon is deep bulk — the kind of card you pull from a box rather than buy. That price is stable by default; there's no competitive demand to move it, and Commander interest alone won't push a six-mana conditional removal creature off the bulk floor.
