Dementia Sliver gives every Sliver you control a tap ability to force an opponent to discard a card at the beginning of their upkeep — a repeatable, tribal-wide mill-pressure effect that compounds fast with a wide board. The cost is a five-mana body that does nothing until you already have other Slivers in play.

In Commander, Dementia Sliver earns its slot in dedicated Sliver builds where the board is already wide — ten Slivers tapping means ten forced discards per round, which dismantles opponent hands faster than most dedicated discard strategies. Outside of Sliver tribal it has no competitive home, since the ability is locked behind creature type. Legacy and Vintage both have access to faster, more consistent discard engines, and no serious Sliver shell in those formats leans on this effect to close games. It's a Commander card through and through.

Price Context
Current price
$0.37 bulk tier
At $0.37, Dementia Sliver sits firmly in bulk territory — easy to pick up without a second thought for any Sliver build. Bulk rares in tribal niches rarely spike unless the tribe gets a major push, so don't expect movement, but at this price that's irrelevant.
