Death-Mask Duplicant
Artifact Creature — Shapeshifter
Imprint — : Exile target creature card from your graveyard.
As long as a card exiled with this creature has flying, this creature has flying. The same is true for fear, first strike, double strike, haste, landwalk, protection, and trample.

Death-Mask Duplicant is a seven-mana shapeshifter that exiles a creature on entry and permanently wears its abilities — flying, first strike, trample, and everything else imprinted on it. The cost is steep, but you're getting removal and a customized threat stapled together on one card.
Format Analysis

Death-Mask Duplicant lives almost exclusively in Commander, where the game goes long enough that seven mana is a realistic ask and the board is reliably stocked with creatures worth exiling. The ability to permanently inherit keywords from the exiled creature — not just copy a static snapshot — means it scales with whatever the most threatening thing on board happens to be. In Legacy and Vintage it's unplayable on rate; those formats end before you cast it. Commander is the only shell where the combination of exile-removal and self-improving evasion justifies the slot.

Price Context
Current price
$0.25 bulk tier
At $0.25, Death-Mask Duplicant is deep bulk — the price reflects its narrow competitive appeal and Commander-only relevance rather than any power ceiling. It's unlikely to spike, but at a quarter it's essentially free to try in any build that wants a removal spell that hits back.
