Deadly Allure gives a creature deathtouch and forces it to be blocked this turn for a single black mana — that's a removal spell stapled to a combat trick at instant speed. It's narrow enough that most decks won't want it, but in a deathtouch-matters or fight-based shell, one mana to guarantee a blocker dies is legitimate.

In Commander, Deadly Allure is a fringe inclusion — the must-block clause is useful for pushing a utility creature through to kill a blocker, but sorcery-speed redundancy and better removal options crowd it out of most 99s. Legacy and Vintage have no interest; one-mana combat tricks don't compete in formats where the game ends on turn one or two. Modern could theoretically support it in a deathtouch aggro shell, but the card sees no competitive play there. It's essentially a Commander-only conversation, and even there only in decks that specifically abuse deathtouch or need to clear a path for a key attacker.

Price Context
Current price
$0.20 bulk tier
At $0.20, Deadly Allure sits firmly in bulk territory and is unlikely to move without a pushed deathtouch commander driving sudden demand. It's a low-risk pickup if the effect fits your deck, but don't expect the price to do anything interesting.
