Daredevil Dragster is a 4/4 Vehicle that crews for 2 and draws a card when it dies — solid rate for the body, decent upside on destruction, but four mana for a creature that needs a pilot every combat keeps it out of competitive consideration. It's a fine budget filler in Vehicle-tribal brews and nowhere else.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Daredevil Dragster sees essentially no play across constructed formats — Modern, Pioneer, and Legacy all have faster, more resilient threats that don't require a crew investment. In Commander, it's a niche include in Vehicle-tribal builds led by commanders like Depala, Pilot Exemplar, where the draw-on-death clause adds marginal value, but even there it competes poorly with Skysovereign, Consul Flagship and other high-impact Vehicles. Oathbreaker is the same story: legal but not impactful enough to justify the slot.
