Corrosive Gale kills every flying creature on the board for as little as one green mana — the X damage scales to whatever the biggest threat demands. The catch is that it hits your flyers too, so it belongs in decks that either don't run them or actively want creatures in the graveyard.

In Commander, Corrosive Gale fills a niche that green genuinely struggles with: efficient, scalable anti-air that doesn't require attacking or combat tricks. Most green decks either ignore flyers entirely or lean on Plummets and Aerial Predations that hit one target — Corrosive Gale wipes the whole table's sky for three or four mana at instant speed. Outside Commander, it's legal in Legacy, Vintage, and Modern, but those formats move too fast and too wide on the ground for a conditional flying sweeper to see meaningful play.
