Copper-Leaf Angel converts a mountain of floating mana into a stat-stick on the spot — sacrifice any number of Elves or tokens to pump its power and toughness by that many until end of turn, no cap. The cost is that the payoff is entirely conditional on having both the Angel and a board full of fodder at the same instant.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Copper-Leaf Angel is a Commander card through and through — the format's longer games give you the time to assemble the mana dorks, tokens, or sacrifice synergies that make it worthwhile. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but competes with far more efficient payoffs and will never see a sleeve outside a casual pile. Oathbreaker shares Commander's singleton, multiplayer structure, so the same Elf-storm or token-flood decks that want it there will want it here too.

Price Context
Current price
$1.20 cheap tier
At $1.20, Copper-Leaf Angel sits in the cheap tier — low enough to slot in without second-guessing, but niche enough that demand will never push it higher. It holds value the way most casual-only singletons do: steadily, quietly, and without much upside.
