Complete Disregard exiles a creature with power 3 or less — no graveyard recursion, no lingering threat — for three mana at instant speed. Efficient enough for budget Commander lists, but strictly outclassed by one-mana removal in any format where card slots are precious.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |

| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Complete Disregard is a bulk common in most competitive formats — Modern, Legacy, and Vintage all have cheaper, less conditional answers that don't care about power. Pauper is its most credible home, where the common card pool keeps exile-based removal at a premium and the power-3-or-less ceiling covers a wide range of relevant threats. In Commander, the exile clause matters more than the mana cost does, but three mana for single-target removal is a hard sell when Rapid Hybridization and Generous Gift both cost one and answer any permanent. Run Complete Disregard in Commander only if budget is the hard constraint and you need the exile specifically.

Price Context
Current price
$0.04 bulk tier
At $0.04, Complete Disregard is deep bulk — you're paying essentially nothing to fill a removal slot. The price is stable because demand never spikes; it's always a fallback option, not a sought-after piece.
