Chorus of the Tides enters as a 3/2 flyer and draws you a card when it leaves — solid stats plus a built-in cantrip on death or bounce. The catch is five mana for a body that trades with most mid-game threats, which makes it a role-player in blink and graveyard shells rather than a general-purpose beater.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

In Commander, Chorus of the Tides earns its slot only in dedicated blink or flicker decks — the leave-the-battlefield draw trigger is the entire reason to run it, and commanders like Brago, King Eternal can fire it multiple times per turn cycle. Outside of that archetype it's too expensive and too fragile to justify the slot. In Pauper it's legal but competes with cheaper commons that draw cards more efficiently, so it sees no real play there. Modern, Pioneer, Legacy, and Vintage all have card-draw options that cost less mana and demand less setup, leaving Chorus of the Tides irrelevant in those formats.

Price Context
Current price
$0.06 bulk tier
At $0.06, Chorus of the Tides is deep bulk — you'll find it in a commons box before you bother ordering it. Price stability is a non-issue; it will stay at this floor indefinitely unless a Brago-style deck breaks into the spotlight and spikes demand, which is unlikely.
