Charge Across the Araba gives your whole team +1/+1 and vigilance until end of turn for five mana with a sweep mechanic that reduces the cost for each plains you control — in the right deck, you're casting this for two or three mana. Outside white-heavy landfall or token builds that can leverage the discount, five mana for a combat trick is unplayable.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Charge Across the Araba is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but sees essentially no play outside Commander. In Legacy and Modern, five base mana for a combat trick — even a discounted one — is embarrassing next to Fog effects and actual threats. Commander is the only format where the sweep discount is realistic: white-heavy decks with ten or more basic Plains on board can cast this for one or two mana, at which point a team-wide pump with vigilance is genuinely threatening on a wide board. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander, just in a smaller game.

Price Context
Current price
$0.20 bulk tier
At $0.20, Charge Across the Araba is deep bulk — a throwaway pickup if you're building the exact deck that wants it. Don't expect the price to move; narrow combat tricks with conditional costs don't hold value, and supply is plentiful.
