Ceta Disciple card art
Ceta Disciple taps to give any creature +1/+0 until end of turn for each blue, green, or red mana you spend on the ability — a repeatable pump that scales with your mana but demands you build around multicolor activation to get real value out of it. Narrow conditions make it a niche role-player rather than a staple.

Ceta Disciple is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper, and Oathbreaker, but it sees virtually no competitive play in any of them. In Commander, it fits only in decks that go wide with Temur or overlapping color combinations and have a reason to dump mana into a tapping outlet — think Zaxara, the Exemplary or X-spell-adjacent strategies that flood the board and want a finisher outlet. In Pauper it's commons-legal but too slow and conditional against efficient removal-heavy metas. Legacy and Vintage have zero interest in a one-mana creature that requires three colors of mana investment to be meaningful.

Price Context

Current price

$0.10 bulk tier

At $0.10, Ceta Disciple is pure bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not power. Don't expect that price to move; demand is too narrow to push it anywhere.
