Carrion Wall is a 3/3 regenerating blocker for three mana — respectable stats with a built-in second life — but the regeneration cost of paying two and sacrificing a creature makes it expensive to maintain in practice. It blocks once for free, and after that you're spending resources to keep a wall alive; there are cheaper ways to protect a life total.

Carrion Wall is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but it sees essentially no competitive play in any of them. In Commander it's too low-impact — a 3/3 that can't attack and demands creature sacrifices to survive board wipes doesn't justify a slot when you're operating at the four-player scale. Legacy and Modern have long since outpaced it with more efficient threats and interaction. Carrion Wall is the kind of card that looked reasonable at printing and has since been lapped by power creep on every axis.

Pricing data for Carrion Wall isn't currently available, but given its negligible competitive presence across all legal formats, it's almost certainly a bulk rare. Pick it up for flavor or nostalgia — just don't expect it to cost you more than a few cents.
