Brightflame kills a creature and gains you life equal to its toughness — two effects stapled together at four mana in Boros colors. The cost is real: sorcery speed and a restrictive double-white, double-red pip requirement keep it out of most Commander 99s, but Firesong and Sunspeaker turns every point of that lifegain into a Lightning Bolt, which changes the math entirely.

Brightflame is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but it sees essentially no play outside Commander. In Legacy and Vintage, four mana at sorcery speed for a single removal spell is nowhere near competitive.
