Briarbridge Tracker enters as a 3/3 with a Clue attached — you're getting a draw engine stapled to a relevant body for three mana. It's not flashy, but any green deck that wants both creatures and card advantage runs it without apology.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Briarbridge Tracker never cracked competitive Modern or Pioneer — three mana for a 3/3 with a Clue is fine, but those formats have more efficient threats and draw at the same slot. In Commander it earns its seat in any green shell that cares about artifacts, Clues specifically, or just wants a self-replacing threat that doesn't demand synergy to justify inclusion. Lonis and Korvold decks treat the attached Clue as a meaningful trigger rather than a tacked-on bonus, which is where Briarbridge Tracker moves from filler to role-player. Legacy and Vintage are non-starters — the card is too fair for formats that end the game before a 3/3 matters.

Price Context
Current price
$0.10 bulk tier
At $0.10, Briarbridge Tracker is deep bulk — grab a copy out of any common box and don't think twice about it. Bulk rares at this price point rarely recover unless a new Clue-matters commander pushes demand, so treat it as a cheap inclusion and nothing more.
