Brave the Wilds
Sorcery
Bargain (You may sacrifice an artifact, enchantment, or token as you cast this spell.)
If this spell was bargained, target land you control becomes a 3/3 Elemental creature with haste that's still a land.

Brave the Wilds puts two +1/+1 counters on a Forest you control and untaps it — immediate mana acceleration and a permanent buff on a land for one green mana. It's a niche piece that earns its slot only in dedicated land-creature builds; everywhere else, it's outclassed by conventional ramp.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Brave the Wilds is a Commander card through and through — the combination of counter synergies, land-creature themes, and the singleton rule make it meaningful in the right 99 where it would never survive the cut in a 60-card format. In competitive formats like Modern, Legacy, or Pioneer, one mana for two counters on a single Forest simply doesn't do enough; you'd run Arbor Elf plus a land untapper and get more out of it. In Pauper it's legal but irrelevant — there's no meaningful land-creature shell to support it. Standard is the one fringe case where a dedicated +1/+1 counter deck might test it, but even there the ceiling is low. Commander is the only format where Brave the Wilds has a real home, and even there it's a role-player, not a staple.

Price Context
Current price
$0.11 bulk tier
At $0.11, Brave the Wilds is deep bulk — you'll find it in a commons box before you'd bother ordering it. The price reflects its narrow demand accurately, and there's no reason to expect it to move unless a future Commander precon puts a land-creature theme front and center.
