Boros Locket costs three mana to produce one of two colors and replaces itself only if you spend four more mana to crack it — that's seven mana and a card to net two cards, which is a losing trade. Run it only if you have a specific reason to sacrifice artifacts or need the absolute floor on mana fixing, and even then, better options exist at every price point.
