Boros Fury-Shield blocks a creature, deals damage equal to that creature's power to any target, and can prevent all combat damage to the blocking creature — three effects on one instant for two mana. It's too narrow and too clunky to compete with modern combat tricks, and outside very specific aggro-punishment builds it's a bulk rare for a reason.
