Bomat Courier does something almost no other one-drop does: it builds a hand refill on its own, exiling cards face-down every time it attacks until you cash it in for the stack. The cost is real — you discard your hand to activate it — but in red decks that empty their hand by turn three anyway, that downside is nearly free, and Laelia, the Blade Reforged decks treat every exiled card as a bonus counter.

In Commander, Bomat Courier is a niche but effective piece in red decks that want to go wide early and reload mid-game — Laelia lists and Krenko-style aggro shells are the natural homes.
