Body of Jukai card art
Body of Jukai lands as a 6/6 trample with a built-in +1/+1 counter engine that feeds off your own spells — meaningful stats and a scaling threat in one card. The seven-mana price tag is steep, but you're paying for a creature that keeps growing rather than sitting static.

Format Analysis

In Commander, Body of Jukai belongs in counter-synergy decks that can proliferate or otherwise leverage its growth — it's too slow and narrow for generic green midrange, but in the right shell it becomes a threat opponents have to answer. In Legacy and Vintage it's unplayable; seven mana for a vanilla-adjacent creature doesn't compete with what those formats are doing on turns one through three. Modern has no real home for it either — the format moves too fast for a seven-drop that needs additional spells to justify its cost. Body of Jukai is effectively a Commander-only card, and even there it needs a dedicated archetype to earn its slot.

Price Context

Current price

$0.28 bulk tier

At $0.28, Body of Jukai is deep bulk — easy to pick up as a throw-in or cheap acquisition for any counter-synergy build. Bulk rares with narrow application rarely climb, so don't expect the price to move unless a future commander dramatically spikes its demand.
