Blood Frenzy gives any attacking or blocking creature +4/+0 until end of turn — then destroys it at end of turn, which is the price you pay for a two-mana pump that swings trades dramatically in your favor. It's a narrow combat trick that wins the exchange and loses the creature, so you run it when the creature dying is either irrelevant or the whole point.

In Commander, Blood Frenzy occupies a tight niche: red decks that want to force a trade, finish a blocker, or trigger death-matters effects cheaply. The end-of-turn destruction clause is a real cost at a table where creatures need to stick, so you're almost always using it offensively to punch through a blocker or push lethal damage. In Pauper it has slightly more legs — combat tricks at common that pump by four are meaningful in creature-heavy mirrors, and the self-destruct clause matters less when you're already racing. Legacy and Vintage are formats where Blood Frenzy simply doesn't compete; the effect is too conditional for formats that end games with spells, not creatures.

$0.27 bulk tier
At $0.27, Blood Frenzy is deep bulk — the price reflects how rarely it makes the cut anywhere. It's stable there; demand won't move a card this situational.
