Blood Feud makes two creatures fight each other — twice — for six mana, which is a lot to ask for a removal spell that can still leave both targets alive. It's a clunky answer to indestructible-heavy boards and a liability against anything with a death trigger or regeneration.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Blood Feud is a Commander card through and through — six mana is acceptable in a 40-life format where games go long, and the political angle of forcing two opponents' creatures to destroy each other has real table value. Even there, it competes with cheaper, cleaner removal like Swords to Plowshares and Generous Gift, so it earns a slot mainly in decks that want repeated fight effects or can recur instants and sorceries. In Legacy and Vintage, six mana for conditional removal that doesn't touch planeswalkers or non-creature permanents is unplayable — those formats end before Blood Feud matters. Modern is technically legal but the same logic applies; the card simply doesn't function at that speed.

Price Context
Current price
$0.04 bulk tier
At $0.04, Blood Feud is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not demand. That price is stable because there's no competitive pressure to move it, so don't expect it to tick up.
