Blizzard Elemental lands as a 7/7 flying trampler that can tap down every creature an opponent controls — for seven mana, that board-locking ceiling is real. The cost is the ceiling: seven mana is a lot to ask before you get to untap with it, and without a way to give it haste or pair it with Elemental Mastery for immediate tokens, it often dies before it does anything.
