Beast Walkers
Creature — Human Beast Soldier
: This creature gains banding until end of turn. (Any creatures with banding, and up to one without, can attack in a band. Bands are blocked as a group. If any creatures with banding you control are blocking or being blocked by a creature, you divide that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.)

Beast Walkers gives your creatures forestwalk for a single green mana at instant speed, turning any board state into a lethal attack the moment an opponent controls a Forest. The catch is total format dependency — without green opponents, it's a dead card.
Format Analysis

Beast Walkers is a Commander card almost exclusively, and even there it's a niche include rather than a staple. It earns a slot in aggressive green or Voltron builds targeting the format's heavy green presence — Selvala, Simic, and Temur commanders dominate tables, so forestwalk has real targets. Legacy and Vintage technically allow it, but neither format rewards a sorcery-like conditional evasion piece at any cost. Outside of Commander, Beast Walkers has no competitive home.

Price Context
Current price
$0.48 bulk tier
At $0.48, Beast Walkers is deep bulk — the price reflects its narrow application, not scarcity. It's unlikely to appreciate unless a Commander printing dramatically spikes forestwalk synergies, so treat it as a cheap role-player you pick up if the effect fits, not a hold.
