Avarice Amulet gives the equipped creature +2/+0, hexproof, and draws you a card at your upkeep — but when that creature dies, your opponents get to fight over who steals it next. The upside is real, the downside is a loaded gun your opponents will aim at your best creature on purpose.

Avarice Amulet is a Commander card through and through — the chaos clause barely matters in one-on-one formats where passing the Amulet just hands it back to one known opponent, and Constructed formats offer far better four-mana equipment. In Commander, the theft trigger is legitimately dangerous: opponents will trade a 1/1 token into your hexproof threat just to steal the Amulet and strand you without card draw. The build that actually wants it is a politics or chaos shell — Zedruu the Greathearted, for instance, can gift it away before the creature dies and never touch the downside. Outside of a dedicated donation or group-slug strategy, the card draw isn't worth the target it paints.

Price Context
Current price
$0.25 bulk tier
At $0.25, Avarice Amulet is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not the effect. The price reflects the power level accurately, and there's no reason to expect it to move unless a donation commander spikes in popularity.
