In Commander, Avacyn's Judgment earns its slot almost exclusively in madness and discard-matters shells — outside of Anje Falkenrath builds, the card is too conditional to justify. In Modern and Pioneer it has never found a home; red has cleaner burn and dedicated discard strategies don't need a sorcery-speed X spell. Legacy and Vintage have no interest: the payoff ceiling is too low against the raw power density of those formats. Stick to Commander, and only in the right shell.
