Auspicious Arrival puts a 3/3 Bird token into play and gains you 3 life for four mana — reasonable stats, but the absence of any enters-the-battlefield recursion, token doubling, or spell synergy makes it a mid-power rate you run only when you're actively rewarding both tokens and lifegain simultaneously. If your deck doesn't care about both halves, cheaper options exist.

In Commander, Auspicious Arrival earns its slot in lifegain-matters decks or token strategies that want incidental life padding — commanders like Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn or Dina, Soul Steeper can translate that 3 life into real advantage, and the Bird token is relevant if you're running anthem effects. Outside Commander, the rate is too low: four mana for a 3/3 plus 3 life is simply outclassed in Standard, Pioneer, and Modern by more efficient threats. Pauper has tighter competition at common, and Legacy or Vintage never see it. Auspicious Arrival is a Commander-only card in practice, and even there it wants a specific shell to justify inclusion.

$0.06 bulk tier
At $0.06, Auspicious Arrival is deep bulk — you're not paying a premium for anything here. Bulk commons and uncommons rarely appreciate unless a competitive format picks them up, and nothing about this card's rate suggests that's coming.
