Auriok Edgewright becomes a 2/2 double striker for two mana the moment you have two artifacts in play — a condition most artifact decks meet on turn two. Cheap, immediate, and genuinely threatening when equipped, it earns its slot only in decks built to hit that threshold consistently.

In Commander, Auriok Edgewright is a fringe inclusion — double strike is powerful on a body that can carry equipment or get pumped by artifact synergies, but a 2/2 base rarely survives the multiplayer gauntlet long enough to matter. Legacy and Vintage have more explosive things to do on turn two, so it doesn't show up in competitive lists there. Modern artifact strategies have enough efficient threats that Auriok Edgewright sits well outside the cut. It's most at home in a focused Commander build — Breya, Etherium Shaper or a Voltron-style Sram, Senior Edificer deck — where the metalcraft condition is trivially online and equipment density makes double strike a genuine kill condition.

$0.13 bulk tier
At $0.13, Auriok Edgewright is deep bulk — the kind of card you pick out of a common box without thinking twice. It won't hold or gain value, but at that price the only question is whether it earns a deck slot, not whether it's worth buying.
