Aura Graft steals any Aura on the board and reattaches it to a target you control — two mana at instant speed for what is effectively removal plus a buff. It's a narrow effect, but in the right shell it punches well above its price.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Aura Graft is a fringe card in every format it's legal in, but Commander is where it has the most upside — games go long, Auras hit the table regularly, and stealing a Eldrazi Conscription or Ethereal Armor off an opponent's creature can swing a game outright. In Legacy and Vintage, the effect is too conditional to compete with the raw power of those formats' disruption suites. Modern has enough enchantment-based decks that the steal angle is occasionally relevant, but Aura Graft rarely makes those lists when dedicated hate exists. Oathbreaker mirrors Commander's appeal on a smaller scale, particularly in Aura-centric strategies.

Price Context
Current price
$0.19 bulk tier
At $0.19, Aura Graft is pure bulk — easy to pick up in a trade binder or toss into a cart as an afterthought. The price is unlikely to move unless an Aura-theft strategy breaks into competitive conversation, so grab it for the effect, not the foil.
