Attended Socialite enters as a 2/2 that creates a 1/1 token — two bodies for two mana, which is the floor for competitive token production. It's a role-player, not a headliner, and it earns its slot only in decks that actively reward creature count or token generation.

In Commander, Attended Socialite is a budget option for token-tribal and aristocrats shells that need cheap, reliable two-for-ones — commanders like Teysa Karlov or Ghave, Guru of Spores will extract real value from the doubled body. In Pauper, the common slot is brutally competitive, and a vanilla two-body play at two mana is borderline; token synergy decks can use it, but it has no text beyond the enters trigger. Modern and Pioneer have far more efficient token producers at the same cost, so Attended Socialite doesn't see serious play there. Legacy and Vintage simply don't want it.
