Ash, Party Crasher card art
Ash, Party Crasher lands and immediately swings the board — a 4/4 with trample and haste that also hands your opponents a resource, pressuring them to attack each other rather than you. The political tax is the cost, and in Commander it's usually worth it; in General Ferrous Rokiric decks especially, the multicolor payoffs make that downside negligible.

General Ferrous Rokiric triggers off every multicolor spell, and Ash, Party Crasher is exactly the kind of hasty, aggressive threat that benefits from a board already crowded with Golems — the extra card opponents draw rarely matters when you're closing fast with a wide team.

In Commander, Ash, Party Crasher fills a specific role: a haste-enabled threat that doubles as a political tool, nudging opponents into attacking each other while you develop your board. The card-draw rider is far less punishing in a four-player game than it looks on paper — one extra card per opponent is a rounding error when you're already ahead on board. In 60-card formats, that same rider is a real liability; aggressive red decks don't want to gift opponents resources, and a 4/4 for four needs to close games, not extend them. Ash is legal across Modern, Pioneer, and Standard but unlikely to see serious play outside Commander and perhaps fringe Oathbreaker lists built around multicolor synergies.

Price Context

Current price

$0.20 bulk tier

At $0.20, Ash, Party Crasher sits firmly in bulk territory — easy to pick up as a throw-in or from a bulk bin without a second thought. Bulk rares with narrow applications rarely climb unless a specific deck archetype breaks out, so don't expect movement unless multicolor aggro finds a competitive foothold.
