Argothian Wurm lands as an 8/6 trampler for four mana — one of the most efficient stat blocks in green — but the opponent gets to sacrifice a land before it sticks, which almost always costs you the tempo advantage you came for. Outside of Baru, Wurmspeaker, where that drawback becomes irrelevant noise against the wurm-tribal payoffs, it's a hard sell in most green decks.

Argothian Wurm is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, and sees essentially no play in Legacy or Vintage where four mana for a creature with a built-in drawback can't compete with the format's power level.
