Arbor Colossus is a 6/6 reach for five mana that can monstrosity into a 9/9 and destroy a flying permanent — solid stats and relevant utility wrapped in one card. The problem is that five mana for a vanilla-sized body is mediocre in Commander, and the monstrosity cost is steep enough that you rarely get there.
Format Analysis

In Commander, Arbor Colossus fills a niche in mono-green or green-heavy decks that want flying hate on a body — but at five mana, it competes with ramp pieces and better threats, and it rarely makes the cut outside of budget builds. In Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer, it is simply unplayable; those formats demand more efficiency than a five-mana 6/6 with a conditional upside can offer. Vintage has no interest in it either. Arbor Colossus is a Commander-only conversation, and even there it sits at the fringe.

Price Context
Current price
$0.17 bulk tier
At $0.17, Arbor Colossus is deep bulk — the price reflects its limited demand across formats. It holds no value trajectory worth tracking; pick it up if you need it, but don't expect that to change.
