Angelic Blessing gives one creature flying and vigilance until end of turn for three mana — a sorcery-speed, single-target buff that replaces itself with nothing. Permanent auras or equipment that do the same job for less or stick around make this obsolete in any competitive context.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Angelic Blessing is a bulk rare in every format that will have it, and nowhere does it earn a slot. In Commander, one-shot combat tricks at three mana compete against permanent threats, card draw, and interaction — losing badly on every axis. Legacy, Vintage, and Pauper are too fast for a sorcery-speed buff that generates no card advantage. Pauper at least has a shallow pool, but even there, better white combat tricks exist at common.

Price Context
Current price
$0.20 bulk tier
At $0.20, Angelic Blessing is deep bulk — the kind of card that ends up in bulk boxes rather than decks. That price won't rise; demand is effectively zero across every format it's legal in.
