Altac Bloodseeker
Creature — Human Berserker
Whenever a creature an opponent controls dies, this creature gets +2/+0 and gains first strike and haste until end of turn. (It deals combat damage before creatures without first strike, and it can attack and as soon as it comes under your control.)

Altac Bloodseeker becomes a 3/1 with first strike and haste whenever an opponent's creature dies, making it a real clock in any deck that reliably kills creatures. The payoff is real, but the 2/1 base dies to everything and the window to attack is narrow — you need the trigger, then untap, then swing.

In Commander, Altac Bloodseeker is a cheap roleplayer in aggressive red or Rakdos sacrifice decks, not a staple — creature death is common enough to keep it online, but four opponents means targeted removal will end it before it matters. In Modern and Pioneer, the two-drop slot is brutally competitive and a conditional 3/1 with first strike can't reliably race dedicated aggressive creatures. Legacy and Vintage have no interest in Altac Bloodseeker when better threats exist at every cost. It's a Commander card, and even there only in the right shell.
