Allied Reinforcements is legal in Commander, Modern, Pioneer, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but it only earns a slot in Commander, where tribal payoffs and token synergies compound over a longer game. In Modern and Pioneer, four mana for two 2/2s is simply too slow against efficient threats and interaction — Allied Reinforcements won't see those tables. Commander is where it lives, specifically in Ally-tribal decks that trigger enter-the-battlefield abilities off each token separately, or Knight-tribal lists that want additional bodies to pump.
