Aether Chaser is a 2/1 first striker that fabricates a Servo token on entry — two bodies for two mana is a reasonable rate, but neither body is threatening enough to matter past the early game. It's a Limited card that never made the jump to Constructed.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |

| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Aether Chaser sees essentially no Constructed play at any level. In Pauper, where two-mana creatures are held to a high standard, a 2/1 that makes a 1/1 artifact token doesn't clear the bar — there are simply better options for aggro, artifacts, and token strategies alike. Commander is the one format where it could theoretically slot into a Servo or artifact token deck, but the competition for 99-card slots is stiff enough that Aether Chaser rarely makes the cut there either. It's a bulk common in every format that allows it.

Price Context
Current price
$0.19 bulk tier
At $0.19, Aether Chaser is deep bulk — the kind of card that shows up in a draft chaff box, not a trade binder. There's no demand pressure to push that price up, so it will stay in this range indefinitely.
