Abundant Harvest replaces itself for one green mana, letting you call your shot — land or nonland — so you almost never miss on mana or run dry on action. At common rarity and a single pip, it's one of the cleanest cantrips in green, and Aeve, Progenitor Ooze decks in particular run it because every spell that resolves before the commander hits the stack becomes a free copy of Aeve.

Aeve, Progenitor Ooze creates a copy for each spell cast before it in the same turn, so Abundant Harvest does double duty — smoothing your mana early and padding the storm count right before Aeve resolves.

In Commander, Abundant Harvest earns its slot as reliable one-mana velocity: green decks frequently need either their third land drop or a nonland threat, and Harvest finds whichever one the situation demands. In Pauper it competes for cantrip slots in Hexproof and ramp shells and holds up well given its zero downside and common legality. Legacy and Vintage have access to Brainstorm and Ponder, so Abundant Harvest isn't fighting for those slots, but fringe storm and threshold builds that specifically want green cantrips have used it. It's not legal in Pioneer or Standard, which limits its reach but doesn't diminish its Commander relevance.

Price Context
Current price
$1.93 cheap tier
At $1.93, Abundant Harvest sits at the low end of the market for a heavily-played utility cantrip, and demand is stable enough across Commander and Pauper that the price is unlikely to crater. It's an easy include that won't strain any budget.
